The Lady Eagles basketball team is having a free throw-a-thon on Saturday October 3rd to raise money to pay for  upcoming season expenses. Each player will shoot 400 free-throws and attempt to player goal raising $250.  The players will look for pledges from individuals and small businesses to raise enough money to pay for shoes, sweats, and other basketball equipment. The team goal is to raise enough funds so that each player can cover her own basketball expenses without having to ask her parents for the full amount.
