CROSS PLAINS — The Jo Byrns Red Devils scored two touchdowns in the final two minutes to defeat the East Robertson Indians 44-28 in what people in Robertson County call the Match in the Patch.

The Indians (3-2, 1-1 District 10-A) tied the score at 28 with 2:21 remaining on a 93-yard drive that included two fourth-down conversions.

Then the Red Devils (4-0, 2-0) relied on the legs of Frankie Traughber and Kevin Ashabraner to win.  Read complete story from Tennesseean.com
