Nashville Christian School Booster Club

The NCS Athletic Booster Club is an organization of parents who work together to raise money to support the athletic programs.

The Booster Club makes a difference…

  • by purchasing behind-the-scene maintenance materials and equipment—like dirt and seeds for the baseball fields, sand for the soccer and football fields, equipment and paint for Friday night’s gridiron graphics, scoreboards, sound systems, transportation, and more.
  • by providing economical transportation. The Booster Club recently purchased a 20-seat bus to transport teams with a small number of participants like cross country, basketball, and volleyball.
  • By refurbishing NCS athletic arenas. Last year the Booster Club paid out $10,000 to renovate the Gibson gym
  • by providing elbow grease. There is almost always a Booster Club volunteer or two involved in the building, upkeep, and maintenance of our athletic facilities.
  • by providing scholarships to student athletes. Last year the Booster Club awarded two $1000 college scholarships to student-athletes.

Anybody can make a difference…

Everybody contributes. The Booster Club has a variety of ways in which to participate. For example:

Become a Member of the NCS Athletic Booster Club. There are 3 levels of participation

  • Basic Membership for $35 (5th grade and below may become a junior eagle for $10 additional)
  • Silver Eagle Membership for $150, includes one pass for all home sporting events and a special gift
  • Golden Eagle Membership for $250, includes two passes for all home sporting events and a special gift

Help grow the membership by working at the Booster Club membership table during Nashville Christian’s school registration.

Play golf. The NCS Booster Club Golf Tournament is one of the club’s largest fundraisers. This event always draws a great crowd because it provides an opportunity to get to know one another as well as support NCS athletics.

Help organize and run the Golf Tournament.

Help set up and run the amusements at Elementary Night when the NCS football stadium transforms into a coliseum of fun, games, and prizes for young children.

Help organize the volunteers for the concession stand at athletic events.

Work one or both of the two NCS Trading Threads Consignment Sales. This spring and fall event draws in over 120 consigners and channels a lot of money into NCS Athletics—last fall alone Trading Threads made over $5,500.

Help sponsor the annual NCS sports banquet.

Make a contribution. Remember, 100% of the monies collected go back into NCS athletics.
